SharePointCrossSiteLookupColumn Description
—————————————–
SharePoint Cross-Site Lookup Column allows you to store the SharePoint lists in
another site, getting information from different sites and using an ID from the list item to retrieve the data.

You need to have an Access to the lists in the other site with a Web part configured to fill the information.

After you add a List Cross Reference, when you enter information in any of the fields you will have the list item data available for the
list.

Columns configuration.

Search field
————-
With this column you can have different search fields to cross-reference the list:

1. Title

2. Description

3. Author

4. Modified

5. Created

6. Last Modified

7. Item ID

8. IsPublic

9. Item Status

10. Parent Category

11. Item Size

The query that will be created to cross-reference the list (the result of the “Query Expression”) will have the columns from the
items from the other site.

But the ID will be different from the ID of the list item because the ID of the item in the other list is not 100% the same than the list item.

The result will be similar to:

ID:c209d28b-9ed4-4d5f-80a7-f1d6ebb9ff37|Categories|Default Lists|Documents|No More|No more|1065

You can:

1. Edit the Query Expression, to see the columns that will be returned

2. Edit the query to add the ID column to the query result

If you want to store and cross-reference the other list directly, without creating a cross-reference between the lists, you need to modify the Query Expression of the table that has the list.

If you have the lists in the same site, you don’t need to modify anything.

You can:

1. Change the ID of the other list

2. Modify the query of the field in the other list that contains the ID of the list

3. Modify the query to create a query for each list.

4. Create a cross-reference for each

I know there’s an opportunity to make the best of the season, but we have some tough decisions to make, and tough decisions to make don’t always work out.

I’m of the thinking that we are better off trading away our core of Lecavalier, Pyatt, Leclair, and Leblanc.

Not necessarily trading Lecavalier and Pyatt, but trading them for pieces that might be useful in a season or two. I’m thinking of the Pens, and I’m definitely thinking of the Islanders.

It’d be a trade that would only be “hard” if we had to deal with Vanek or Gagne, or the Pens and Islanders were bad enough to trade us Pouliot. If we could get a good return, it’d be a move worth making.

I wouldn’t be against trading Jagr for a short term rental (that is, someone that could help us win now).

As for giving the team away, if we’re going to go for it, I would suggest that we give Lecavalier and Pyatt away to the Pens, which would likely entail sending up Leblanc, and Leclair. I’m thinking the return is: a roster player, a late round pick, and maybe a prospect. Maybe we can get that fifth guy out of the AHL.

I’m honestly sick of this season, and am really in favor of moving on. This season has become a nightmare for us fans, and I’d hate to have to see the team get bounced in the playoffs.

What I’d really like to see is a season that begins with a big splash. What I’d really like to see is a team that is good enough to go deep in the playoffs, and strong enough to potentially move on, or possibly trade
