I have a molar with large cavity. Because the cavity is very close pulp, my dentist recommend a root canal procedure before a crown is place. This tooth does not hurt, only pressure sensitivity when I’m chewing. My question is: why didn’t he mention pulp capping instead of root canal, should I seek second opinion? I have root canal scheduled for next Tuesday, But plan on canceling the appointment tomorrow. Dentist on here Please help. Thanks
