AutoCAD LT is a leaner and cheaper edition of AutoCAD. Its main functions are geometric modeling, 2D drafting, 2D measurement, 2D and 3D plotting, image analysis, DWG exporting and many more. Unlike AutoCAD, AutoCAD LT does not have functions for 3D modeling and 2D drafting. It uses VML technology instead of Parasolid technology to accomplish the same 3D model editing.
