Codeigniter + WordPress: add two or more taxonomies to one product

How to add two taxonomies to one product with Codeigniter?
For example, I have an array ( $colors ), where it contains colors from a color swatches page.
So I want to output the colors names in a list.
I have created a class called Colors, and in this class I put:

return $this->_color;

I get the colors from a custom loop of products.
This custom loop has a parameter like this:
$colors = explode(‘,’, $_REQUEST[‘colors’]);

So $colors becomes something like this $colors = array(‘red,blue,green’, ‘green’);
And I want to add a taxonomy to the products, so I put the taxonomies in the colors array too.
So now $colors becomes something like this: $colors = array(‘red,blue,green’,’red’,’blue’,’green’);
My problem is that how do I add a taxonomy to the products, without adding a taxonomy to every product, and the other problem is that the colors are not the same anymore.
What I want to achieve:
I want to add the colors to the products, so when the colors are pressed they are displayed in the list, and
