I would be selective the other way. If I were you, I would look carefully at what kind of practices I apply to. What kind of dentist are you. Do you want to be in a basic bread and butter type practice that treats patients according to their needs? Do you want to be in a drill, fill, bill practice where you make as much money as you possibly can. Do you want to be in a rural practice so you a forced to do everything (no/limited referrals)? Look carefully, as each type of practice will push you into honing different skill sets.
